Bread 41 is probably my favorite bakery in Dublin!
Being French, I'm super picky with croissant, and it's probably the best one I have tried so far!
I've also tried out their brunch upstairs, and these eggs were amazing!!
Highly recommending Bread 41, it worth queuing (and the queue goes fast!)
My 1st time visiting their new restaurant upstairs. The menu is for brunch type dishes, all very tempting. I had the Eggs & Bread and it was so yummy. MoMo was our server and she was delightful, efficient and attentive without fussing. Her customer services skills are excellent.
The restaurant is nicely laid out, mostly tables & chairs along with a couple of booths. The booths are a bit of a tight squeeze if you are on the larger side! Reservations required, book online. They are busy at lunch and the 3pm close time is strictly observed.
There is an open spaced cafe downstairs and you can also purchase their fabulous breads.

Never disappointing pastries and cafe at Dublin. Worth the wait over long queue.
One of the best bakeries of Dublin, very nice place to have breakfast or take your lunch to go. Bread and other pastries are good. A noisy place but still good to read or work.
I was surprised to see a queue for this place, however the queue was moving quite quickly, we only had to wait around 5-10mins.
The quality of the bread and pastries were exceptionally good! Though the price was a bit pricey.
We ordered the following:
- Tahini Cookie €3.90
- Cruffin €4.60
- Pain Au Chocolate €3.50
- Foccacia €5.50
- Almond Croissant €4.60
My favourite would be the Cruffin, foccacia and the pain au chocolate.
The interior design of the cafe was very nice and modern
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves bread and pastry
A "hug in a mug" - superb latte, and delicious fresh baked treats.
Worth waiting in line for our original order, and staff super helpful when we wanted additional coffees and didn't need to re-queue.
Will return (frequently I suspect)
The morning buns are to die for. Incredible pastries and bread. We went during the pandemic so had to queue for a bit to get the order but it was worth it! Can’t wait to try the food and coffee indoors.
The pastries are amazing, really different flavours and types and all really fresh. The food is fresh and very different from what else is available in the area. The staff are really friendly and helpful when you ask but service in the Eatery upstairs is slow and difficult to get help as the staff are constantly going up and down the stairs. The brunch menu is very limited and it’s not clear what allergens are present or what is clearly vegan or vegetarian from first glance. The lighting and decor is very clinical and uncomfortably bright upstairs, but the downstairs is beautiful, very cosy and comfortable. I would return for pastries and coffees but won’t rush back to the Eatery.
Expensive bakery but most of their pastries are good. Bought caramel and raspberry cruffins and cinnamon swirl for 12 euros. Didn't like the cinnamon swirl but the raspberry cruffin was excellent although tad sweet. The caramel one was extremely sweet and sugary. They also coat their cruffins with sugar so perhaps it would be palatable if they removed the sugar coating.
Flavoursome sourdough bread, great croissants, and amazing saussage rolls, tasty apple cruffin.Chocolate cookie, tahini brownie cookie very sweet for myself, can be great for others. Great bakery!
